We bought breakfast from a small bakery down the street from our hostel this morning, and then spent the day on Las Ramblas. It was a bit chilly and it rained a bit, but it was a fun day in any case. Barcelona is just such a colorful city! I like it a lot.
Around dinner, we met a group at the Travel Bar and went to have Tapas and see a Flamenco dance. The folks we sat with at the restaurant, were a little bit stuck up. They were on spring break from studying in France. I want to say they were from the IES Nantes program. When we saw one of the couples we sat with the next day on Las Ramblas, they pretended as though they had never seen us before in their life. Of course, we didn't really pay them much heed, either. The dinner left us hungry, and Carly and I were the only ones who actually finished our one glass of Sangria. It wasn't too bad, as long as you took multiple swallows at one time. I had to get used to the taste every time I ate something. The dance was nice, but I've seen better Flamenco dancers, and performances. So, we basically got our 23 euros worth. In any case, it was a good night.
